Otonabee Conservation has issued a Level 2 Low Water Condition alert encouraging residents, businesses industries and municipalities to voluntarily reduce water use by 20%.

City Services Civic Holiday 2016 The Civic holiday falls on Monday, August 1, 2016. Many businesses and government offices will be closed. Check here for more detailed information regarding closures and revised hours within City of Peterborough facilities.
2016 Reusable Exchange Weekend #4 Take advantage of this year’s Reusable Exchange Weekend events to pass along items you no longer want or perhaps find a treasure for yourself. Everyone wins and fewer items will end up in our landfill. The 3rd Reusable Exchange runs from Friday, August 5 to Sunday, August 7.
Large Article Pick Up #5 The Waste Management Division will hold the 3rd large article collection on Monday, August 29, 2016.
Fog Testing Sewers The City of Peterborough will be conducting fog testing to identify sources of rain water entering the sanitary sewers. Testing will continue until the end of August, 2016.
