Additional action on stormwater management, transportation for East City development

Following a community meeting on the proposed Ashborough Village neighbourhood development, the City has made changes to the draft requirements to address points made by residents about traffic and stormwater management.


Temporary Road Closure: Lansdowne Street

Canadian Pacific Railway will be temporarily closing Lansdowne Street from High Street to Western Avenue from 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 22 until 11:30 a.m. in Friday, August 24, 2018.


Hydro One to Acquire Assets of Peterborough Distribution Inc.

The City of Peterborough and Hydro One have reached an agreement for Hydro One's acquisition of Peterborough Distribution Inc. from the City. A media release has been issued.

Large Article Collection August 27, 2018 The City of Peterborough Waste Management Division will hold 6 large article collection events in 2018. The fifth collection takes place on Monday, August 27, 2018. Book online or in person at City Hall or the Public Works Office by Thursday, August 23, 2018.
Notice of Complete Application and Public Meeting City of Peterborough has received an application under the Planning Act, R.S.O., 1990, c.P.13. The General Committee will hold a public meeting in the Council Chambers, City Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, August 27, 2018 to consider the application.
